  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

    Classic Buildings makes the following Limited Warranties. These warranties extend to the original purchaser only.
    All Pressure treated lumber has a Lifetime Warranty against Decay.

    The painted Smartside siding has a 50 year warranty against delaminating.
    The Paint on the Smartside siding has a 5 year warranty against chipping or peeling.
    The Shingles have 25 year warranty a on a prorated period.  There is a 100% replacement for the first 3 years and 50% percent replacement for the next 3 years.  The remaining 19 years it is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
    The Metal has a 40 year warranty a on a prorated period.  There is a 100% replacement on the first 5 years and 50% replacement for the next 5 years. The remaining 30 years it is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty against chalk and fade.
    There is a 2 year blanket warranty against defective workmanship, all lumber, and products used on building, including functions of the products. Additional blanket warranties are available.
     This warranty extends only to defects in lumber or Workmanship that is deemed structurally critical, and does not cover damage to your barn caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or improper use, vandalism, or acts of God, or to units which have been altered or modified without the authorization of Classic Buildings.
    The above warranties are subject to the following conditions;
    1. You must submit bill of sale or other proof of purchase.
    2. You must notify Classic Buildings within 30 days after you discover a defect in your building.
    3. All warranty servicing of product must be made by Classic Buildings or its agents.
    4.  This warranty is effective only if the building stays at the site where it was delivered.
    5. You must repaint your building every 5 years and re-stain a natural building every 2 years
    6. You must perform adequate maintenance on your building including leveling adjustments and keeping vegetation or dirt away from the edge of building.

    Your failure to meet the conditions as outlined above will void this limited warranty.
